| Exercise of the Week |
| Standing with your feet shoulder width apart, with the balls and toes of the both feet on a raised surface such as a step (heels hanging off of the raised surface), and holding a very slight bend in your knees. Slowly stand on your toes, while keeping your body in a nice straight line. If you need help with balance, try to perform this exercise holding onto the wall. Once you have come up as far as you can slowly lower your heels down until you feel a nice stretch in the calf muscle. Repeat exercise until muscles are fatigued or desired number of repetitions have been completed and perform exercise off of other foot. |
